Oakley G. Perry

Founder & Director

Oakley serves as Bridgeford’s lead youth development professional and is involved in both designing and leading adventures.

Oakley has over 10 years of experience working with youth and community programs. He grew up in Southeast Georgia, where he became a 4-H member in the fifth grade. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in youth development, leadership, and helping young people discover what they are capable of.

He earned a degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2018, then moved to Utah to complete a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension and Education at Utah State University in 2021.

Oakley has worked as a County 4-H Agent in Tennessee and on the state 4-H staff in South Dakota and Utah. Today, he is taking a break from 4-H work while serving as President/CEO of his hometown’s Economic Development Authority, Chamber of Commerce, and Tourism Bureau.
