Oakley is a youth development professional with over 10 years of experience working with youth and community programs. He grew up in Southeast Georgia, where he became a 4-H member in the fifth grade. His experience as a 4-H member inspired his passion for youth development and working with all kinds of young people.

He attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville (2018), where he graduated with a degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. He then moved to Utah and attended graduate school at Utah State University (2021) to earn his Master’s of Science in Agricultural Extension and Education.

Oakley has worked as a County 4-H Agent in Tennessee and on the state 4-H staff in South Dakota and Utah. Currently, he is taking a break from 4-H work while serving as President/CEO of his hometown’s Economic Development Authority, Chamber of Commerce, and Tourism Bureau. 

A lifelong resident of Southeast Georgia, Jennifer grew up on a farm outside of Hazlehurst, Georgia. While never involved in youth programs as a child, she has served as a 4-H volunteer in the past.

Jennifer is a Jane-of-all-trades. She has worked in a bakery, radio, on a family farm where she drove tractors at age 5, and more. For over 15 years, she has worked in the banking industry. She started out as a teller and ended her time in banking as managing her community’s local branch.

Jennifer earned her Associate of Accounting from Altamaha Technical College. She attended school while working full-time and raising two children.

Jennifer enjoys fishing, riding dirt roads in a side-by-side, and being heavily engaged in her community. She and her husband adopted a little boy who is now 7 years old – this keeps her pretty busy!
